McCain Surging in Missouri?

Posted on 27 March 2008 by Danielle Belton

The Kansas City Star’s Prime Buzz Blog is reporting that Missouri is leaning towards Republican John McCain for president against either Democratic rival in the latest Rassmussen Report.

McCain edges out Hillary Clinton 50-41 percent and beats Barack Obama out-right, leading with a whopping 15 point lead at 53-38 percent.

Divine from this what you may, but the KC folks think Missouri’s “bellwether” state status is in jeopardy.

Jerome Armstrong at MyDD thinks this “surge” is due to fallout from the Rev. Wright imbroglio.

    I think … it’s only March, people.

Rassmussen is a bunch of idiots… Lets look at some real indicators.

33% of Republican voters voted for McCain… or 13% of all voters in the primary.

1/3 of the Missouri Republican deligates are Ron Paul supporters… that want the war in Iraq over now.

McCain played a role in AirBuss getting the in-air refuler contract… this will cost a few hundred jobs at the Boeing plant in Missouri.

He has raised almost no money in Missouri let alone Nation wide.

Rudy 9iu11ani didn’t win a single state yet Rassmussen had him at the top of their polls.
