VIDEO: Father Mike Pfleger on Rev. Wright and Louis Farrakhan

Posted on 14 May 2008 by Antonio D. French

Father Michael Pfleger, a Roman Catholic priest and social activist in Chicago, was interviewed last month by Fox News. His honest commentary on the character assassination of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the villainization of Minister Louis Farrakhan, and America’s false image of Dr. Martin Luther King is well worth watching.

I believe it’s time for Senator Obama to tell his church to be a bit more conscious of both the speakers they invite to preach sermons, and whether it’s such a fantastic idea to videodocument every single second of those sermons. This church has cause Senator Obama more trouble than he could possibly want, and it may be time for him to consider either speaking directly to the congregation or to simply find a new church. Too many loose cannons, too much needlessly reckless oratory, and it all leaves Senator Obama seeming, unfairly, a bit too divisive.
