St. Louis Collector of Revenue Gregg F.X. Daly has endorsed Chris Carter for State Representative of the 61st District, replacing term-limited State Rep. Connie Johnson.
(ST. LOUIS) – Today, Gregory F.X. Daly, the Saint Louis City Collector of Revenue, endorsed Chris Carter for State Representative of the 61st District and Committeeman of the 27th Ward. Daly called Carter “a great candidate who will work hard for the people of Missouri.”
“Chris has a history of helping the people of Saint Louis,” Daly said. “As a civil servant myself, I know the value of having officials that are committed to improving their communities. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Chris Carter for State Representative and Democratic Committeeman.”
Chris Carter is a candidate for Missouri’s 61st State Representative district, an open seat. A proven leader and visionary, Carter has previously worked as the Director of Community Affairs for the 61st District, a District Assistant for the 4th Senatorial District and as an organizer for the city’s Democratic Party. He is a board member at St. Louis C.A.N., NCCJ and the Paula J. Carter Foundation. Also, Chris serves as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
