I’m not sure that not having passed any legislation through Speaker Rod “I never met a kid without healthcare I didn’t like” Jetton’s House of Representatives can be fairly used as a mark against Robin. It is unfortunate that the General Assembly is dominated by such right wing ideologues that they actively worked to increase the number of people in this state without health insurance. It also makes it really hard for a progressive rep to get anything passed. I don’t think getting a nod from Jetton and the other extreme right wingers for a little bill is much of a mark for Hubbard.
I think most blue collar voters are more interested in knowing that Rodney’s campaign is substantially funded by the same guy, Rex Sinquefeld (sorry if I’m not spelling your name right, Rex) who bankrolled Blunt’s campaign before he quit and is now funneling cash to Sara “every thirteen year old should have a gun” Steelman. I just hope he hasn’t permanently coopted PubDef too, because I also used to find it informative.

Perhaps your not so informed. First of all, many publications endorse candidates. Secondly, shouldn’t it be published that a candidate who claims to be completely progressive missed a third of the progressive votes.

Pubdef would report on Robin Wright-Jones if she passed legislation. But I guess they don’t have to worry about that. I suppose that an informed voter like yourself would know that she hasn’t passed any.

I’m inclined to believe yearight over your version of the facts, Antonio, as you’ve reduced this once useful website to propaganda to push your candidate of choice. No matter how many times you provide a disclaimer about you being on retainer with the Hubbard campaign, it’s still blatantly obvious that you’re pushing his agenda and purposely trying to present Wright-Jones in the most negative light possible. Your actions this election cycle have led me to the conclusion that pubdef lacks credibility when covering political races, which is a shame, because I used to really enjoy reading your perspective on issues.

yea, right, robin wright jones is the problem here, not the state representative of the 58th who ran away from the problem of speculation in his district for years, took money from the chief speculator of himself, and now is left defending his very unprogressive record. If wright jones was asleep during the blairmont fiasco, hubbard was opening the chicken coop for the fox.

But wait. Nasheed voted against DALATCA. Now she’s in support of it. Others are now at least satisfied given its local control provision. I don’t see many state legislators standing up given its “no longer their issue”. Moreover, again, can’t one recognize they made a mistake therefore try to redeem that error? Isn’t that better than inaction or active support?

I was there and this is absolutely hilarious. Along with a camera man that identified himself as being from the Hubbard campaign, Antonio had a lady sent as a plant in the audience with these flyers, and she kept asking “where’s Jim Roos?” Roos never showed up, and she didn’t get a chance to get her “gotcha” moment on film.

Besides this event was about Robin’s support of the eminent domain constitutional amendments, and had nothing to do with the land assemblage bill.

Of the ten minutes of footage, this was all you were able to edit together? Way go Antonio, try harder next time.
