North City Farmers’ Market Now Has Fruit!

Posted on 14 August 2008 by Antonio D. French

The two-month-old North City Farmers’ Market now has a fruit vendor: Centennial Farms.

According to project coordinator Lucas Hudson, Centennial Farms will be selling watermelons, cantaloupes, peaches and possibly blackberries.

We will also have apples available. Of course, all of our regular vendors will be there with their healthy and scrumptious fare. Chef Euylan Welch, our cooking demonstration guru will be making low-fat chicken salad, a classic summer treat.

Please come out and support the market and our treasured vendors. See you this Saturday and every Saturday until October 25!

Thanks for your patronage,
Lucas
