Firm to Recommend More School Closings
This Thursday, the public will have its first opportunity to hear about which schools may be closing next. The meeting is Jan 29th at 6:00 PM at Vashon High School, 3035 Cass Ave.

State House, Senate Committees Take Shape
Yesterday Senate Leader Charlie Shields named the chairmen of all 18 senate committees, including one Democrat. Last week, House Speaker Ron Richard named members of the House committees.
