State House, Senate Committees Take Shape

Yesterday Senate Leader Charlie Shields named the chairmen of all 18 senate committees, including one Democrat. Last week, House Speaker Ron Richard named members of the House committees.

Shields, Engler to lead State Senate

Sen. Charlie Shields, R-St. Joseph, will serve as President Pro Tem, the Missouri Senate’s top position, while Kevin Engler, R-Farmington was elected Majority Floor Leader.
