A group of St. Louis aldermen are in Kansas City today meeting with their cross-state counterparts to discuss ways to fight the attempt by local millionaire Rex Sinquefield to get Missouri voters to outlaw the earnings tax, which for St. Louis City represents a third of the already cash-strapped city’s budget.
Alderman Jeffrey Boyd discusses a new bill he supports, sponsored by Alderwoman Kacie Starr Triplett, which would crack down on negligent vacant building owners.
